What platform of discourse do we have as a society if there are ideas and philosophies to be protected from the rationality of questioning their inherent validity? That is to say, what makes one thing more sacred than the next? Ignorance? Fear? Antiquity? Stupidity? We have a duty to openly and fervently question everything we are taught and told in our lives. To question such things doggedly until we arrive at either the acceptance of said ideas and philosophies or the rejection of them. – Mike Durham

I have never known a religion that has helped others before it has helped itself. If you can find me one, then I will argue that it isn’t a religion at all and that it is something better. What would we call this phenomenon? I cannot say because such a thing doesn’t exist. – Mike Durham
